Challenge:
Deliver a novel data acquisition hardware device to enable users to take advantage of machine learning derived insights. Product is currently in market with development based around 50k EAU
Proof-of-Concept Approach:
Worked as the Mechanical Lead on the core technical team investigating various high-level product approaches to gathering behavior insight data in the home environment. Facilitated downselection of sensors and established product architecture.
Led mechanical design team of 3 from from ID concept definition to a run of over 100 tooled units for field trials
Managed a $500k+ budget for ME services and expenses
Beta Launch Approach:
Transitioned to Technical Authority role, responsible for ensuring technical delivery of the hardware portion of the system through a build of 500+ devices
Managed hardware PRD/ERD and maintained alignment between business, marketing, and technical stakeholders
